چکیده
Although lots of assistive devices have been studied to fight against caregivers' work-related musculoskeletal disorders, stand-and-turn effects on biomechanical constraints are still unknown. The aim this study is provide and compare quantitative data loads in the low back area resulting from use a motorless device manual patient handling. Nine caregivers participated motion capture ground reaction forces measurement sessions three cases handling: handling with one caregiver, two caregivers, assisted Forces torques at L5/S1 joint were computed through Inverse Dynamics process. Motorless required smallest whereas caregiver biggest loads, latter being some twice as big former. Caregivers should when sitting/standing standing/sitting position whenever it possible.

متن کاملComparison of Welding Fumes Exposure during Standing and Sitting Welder’s Position
Experimental study was conducted to assess personal welding fumes exposure toward welders during an aluminum metal inert gas (MIG) process. The welding process was carried out by a welding machine attached to a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) workbench. A dummy welder was used to replicate welder during welding works and was attached with sampling pumps and filter cassettes for welding fumes s...
